Matthew and Michaela helped work the Right to Life of Kern County Pro-Life booth at the Kern County Fair. They enjoyed talking with girls and guys about abortion and the adverse affects it has on no only the unborn child, but the mother as well. They also discussed Proposition 85, the Parents Right to Know Act. This proposition will be on the November 7th, 2006 ballot, and if passed, will require parents to be notified if their minor-aged daughter is to obtain an abortion. This notification will need to occur 48 hours before the girl is to have the abortion. Matthew and Michaela learned quite a bit and liked teaching others about the importance of being pro-life.
