On August 15th, 2005, approximately seventy-five teens gathered at the abortion clinic on "H" Street at 4:00 P.M. in black shirts. Around 4:30 P.M. every Monday and Tuesday, a woman comes to the abortion mill to pick up a container holding the pieces of the aborted babies killed that day. Every week, 75 babies are aborted in Bakersfield. The students were there to show the community what 75 people actually looks like. Each person held a black balloon to symbolize the soul of an aborted child. When the woman drove in and saw the signs and balloons, she seemed angry and refused to pick up the container in our view. As she left we let our balloons fly and prayed that abortion would cease to exist.
